Amethyst Sage Agate is characterized by it’s translucent lavender to purple colored chalcedony within an opaque to semi-translucent tan matrix and inclusions of black dendrites.Amethyst Sage Agate comes from Northern Nevada. This is some of my favorite material because it make some of the most beautiful cabochon gemstones. It does have some fractures, but still plenty of material to make several cabochons. Measurements are taken at the widest points and the slab was moistened with water in order to demonstrate how it would appear after polishing. I will combine shipping.
